I have a Q9450, and i'm not sure what temperature i'm supposed to be paying attention too.

Core Temperature has 4 boxes for temps.

18 30 31 31

Which one should I most worried about? Or only pay attention too?

what are your ambient temps? i.e. temperatures in your room/computer case. it makes a difference. if your cpu ran at 45C idle but your ambient temp was 30C then you'd have decent cooling.

32-bit prime95
64-bit prime95

run that program and it'll raise the temps to max after 5-10mins of operation. it shouldn't go above 60C, 70C overclocked. the Q9450 will be fine up to 100C but the higher the temps the shorter the cpu will last you.

me personally, i don't overvolt so my cpu's load temp never gets above 55C under maximum load when the ambient temp is 25C.

But I don't know how to read my cpu temp or my ambient temps. haha That's what i'm also inquiring about.
