please tell us which you think (being well read as we know you are) which will be more powerful notice i said more powerful. now before you go and say oh the ps3 blah blah teraflops. learn what a teraflop is and whether it matters.
and before you say 360 blah blah online think of what the question is .

which is more powerful.

bring factor speculation because we dont know much about the ps3 yet but what leaks out into rumours ands truths. so be smart

i like waht your trying to do but currently all people can give are biased fanboy opinions because the PS3 is not out nor has anybody (exept sony people) played PS3 so honestly biased is all that can be given. i will tell you that i am a microsoft fanboy but unbiastly my xbox blows the PS2 out of the water Now what will come with the PS3 who knows but i do know that i love my 360 even more than i loved the origniol when i play PS3 i will come back to this thread and answer you question

My answer: NO. Why do comparisons with another system that isn't even readily available to the public yet.

And yes there are many threads about this. Do as you may rephrase it.. it'll all drizzle down to the same old thing. This vs. That with no care to knowing the facts..
 
I agree with Hakk, I think its hard not to have some fanboyism when the Xbox 360 is the only console out.

This thread needs to be saved until the PS3 is put on the market. It is very hard to compare.

But my vote will always be for the Xbox 360.
 
hardware wise the ps3 games wise the 360 the price of games wil be beter on 360 price of console 360 the ps3 has 7 cores at 3.2 and source from my game pro magazine say the ps3 will have a video card beter then 2 6800gs
my vote is for 360 due to cheaper games rentalsa and used sales wich ps3 canot not due. the original controler i dont wana be worcking out plaing a game.xbox live will be beter then what ps3 can come out with il probably end up having both as i did have a ps2 and an xbox until my house flooded. xbox will own visula efects dont matter if ur games are shit well mgs4 abd dmc4 will be good they are all i know of for launch for ps3 so there is my vote all my information was included in the may issue of game pro magasine

The PS3 has 1 CPU, that is divided into 7 cores. The xbox 360 had 3 CPU's all running at 3.2 Ghz.
 
I'd have to say that it is hard for me to compare as well, since nothing about the hardware of the PS3 is completely set in stone. Meaning, they've changes so much, that it's hard to know what it will actually look like when it comes out...
 
Did someone say BRING?? I think I heard it.....The specs on hardware still aren't nailed down yet...things keep changing. So why compare Actual hardware....to rumors? So...as of right now...The 360 is kickin ass, cause there's no competition...it's all rumors til the PS3 actually comes out.

no, you said " the ps3 has 7 cores at 3.2 " .... It has 1 CPU at 3.2Ghz that is split into 7 cores. Probably just a mistranslated sentence from your magazine.
 
Sidenote: P11....looking at the pic, it suggests that you're in an Army of some sort.....I had NO idea Canada had a type of military at all....thought it was kinda like France...

I hope your kidding man, some places in Canada like the upmost northern parts are deserted....
but southern Canada is just as Americanized as Minnesota.

Canada does have a respectable Army, especially back in WW2.
BTW, we are currently involved in most of America's overseas intrests such as afghanistan and parts of Iraq.

But to take it one step further, France has 60 Million...little bit bigger than Toronto.....and the French...well....
Anyways, I'm just tryin to get a good chuckle. (and if no one's laughin, that's ok, cause I am)
