Microsoft 2000 and Professional together??

A relatives computer has 2 different OS's. Microsoft 2000 and Microsoft Professional. Of course this is causing a lot of conflicts on the computer. I am trying to remove Microsoft 2000 but can not find where I need to go to remove it. If anyone has any idea where I need to go, please let me know. Thanks so much.

You cant "remove" it like you can with any other program, now most likely its on a seperate partition, so what you need to do is find out which partition it is installed on, and get either qwest partition magic or norton partition magic, these can delete a partiotion and rejoin them, but if there both installed on the same disk and partition, im not sure how you can get rid of it besides re-installing xp and diong a format.
 
i think your talking about partition magic, norton ghost is meant to make an exact copy of your hard disk.
 
but if there on the same partition (somehow), then that wont do any good, and if he needs to buy a program, partition magic would be best since that only takes about 15-30 minutes to do, and it doesnt require you to use numerous CD's or DVD's.
 
:confused: Why exactly would someone want to install both of these OS in the first place? I thought it wasn't possible to do both 2000 and Pro.
