so how would i find out all the specs of my motherboard? I bought it used, and i'm not even sure what kind of mother board it is.

download that then run it, then click the mainboard tab, then tell u the manufacturer and model

there should be a model number on the motherboard itself somewhere, usually its in somewhat large print, you can google that and find it...or it might have the name of the manufacturer on it and that would be a place to start...OR you can download cpu-z from http://www.cpuid.org/cpuz.php run it and go to the "mainboard" tab and you should be able to find out a little more about it.
