Ok, I have no clue what I did! I rebuilt my old Dell Dimension 2350 just for kicks. And It starts up and everything but I have no display! I have a monitor plugged in and it didn't start up. So, I plugged er in to my HDTV and still nothing. Did I screw something up here?

Yea, but how does that relate to seeing nothing on the monitor? Everything starts up, Hard drive my cpu cooler. But when I plug it in to a monitor. nothing. it's like the monitor is not even plugged into anything.

no, dammit, check your frigging RAM

Chill man, it's not his RAM that isn't even a probable explanation, either his onboard video is disabled or he just changed SOMETHING in the BIOS, I recommend a full CMOS refresh, unplug the battery on your mobo for 15 mins and see if that helps.

Thank you!! I will try that right now.

lol, to the two people who said that improperly seated or bad RAM could in no way cause the problem the OP is having, you guys are idiots.

where do you think integrated video gets its processing power and memory?

Well now, he already checked it and that wasn't it, now who feels like the douche? Also are you SURE you unplugged it for 15 mins, if so it just might be the CPU is DOA, worst case scenario. (It can still boot with a DOA CPU in some cases):(

do you even know what DOA means? apparently not since you used the word completely out of context...

Dead on Arrival, I know more than you about computers, I'm almost certain of that, so please, make haste with more funny comments about how I'm wrong.

Also I never said "Improperly seated" RAM wouldn't cause the problem, I was saying that wasn't the problem, because out of 10 people 9 would most likely "properly" seat RAM, btw that is 0.90 or 90% of people.

EDIT: Ok before you flame me about saying it wasn't a "probable explanation" I realize I made a mistake there so I am truly sorry about that.
