recomend me a FPS

some titles ive played are halo, medal of honor allied assualt and spearhead, soldier of fortune 2, half-life 2.

i dont have a very good computer so thats why i chose those games.
my specs are:
1.7ghz
768mb ram
geforce 4 mx440

my friend said he could run doom 3 with this card, but he had a 2.4ghz processor (i took his old one, since he upgraded to a 6600)

think i can run doom 3, and can any one recomend any other fps?

He's referring to First Person Shooters (FPS). I would recommend Counter-Strike, it's a really fun game and it's less demanding than some of the other games you played. You may also want to consider Day of Defeat, which is similar to Medal of Honor.

And for Doom 3, you may be able to play it on low settings, however im not sure if it would run that well on your computer.

MEdal Of Honot Allied Assult w/ the expansions wOOt, then u can play me online :P

anyway, MOH, Doom3 would work on low, F.E.A.R. would work on low, Farcry, Battlefield Vietnam...
 
I love the Unreal Tournament series. The first one (Game of the Year Edition)should run fine. I can play it smooth on my laptop.
 
UT 2004 should run just fine as well, not on very high settings, though. Probably one of the best I've played, especially if you're looking for some fast-paced, mindless killing :)
 
thanks for the suggestions, i played UT 2004 on my curent computer, except it had 256 ram shared with pure 64mb intergrated graphics power. played pretty well aswell, dont know what settings though.
 
I had a GeForce MX440, it runs Source based games, like HL2, CSS and Day of Defeat Source, well on DX7. Doom 3 can be a bit choppy at certain times, especially if there are more than 3-4 enemies.
 
You could probably play morrowind, but that would be a first person slasher....
By the way, is your processor an intel or an AMD?
 
Try the Delta Force series... Delta Force, Delta Force 2, Task Force Dagger, Black Hawk Down, Land Warrior, etc. Non-demanding games that have pretty good game play.

Nope, it definitly would not work, even on low.
All the counter strikes are cool, source might not run too well. Day of defeat is anohter good one.
 
Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Call of duty 1 or 2 Halo. most of those(except call of duty 2) i would think would run on your system and they are all good games.

yes CSS is one of the best. Red Orchestra would that work on a MX440 it works on my X300 pretty good. if it does that would be another FPS game that is fun.

You'll either hate or love Red Orchestra because it is VERY slow. I love realistic games, and i was quite excited when I heard about Red Orchestra. However, when I actually played it, I couldn't tolerate it. One of my least favorite realistic features in the game is the limited vision in the vehicles. It makes me nauseous. :eek:

yes thats one of the downsides to the game that it is slow and the vision of the vehicles arent that great. i like the game but dont love it cause of that. but i have been playing to much CSS lately and its a good break from that game to go to this one.
