hello all,

Can anyone here, or does anyone here have the timeb/ability to recommend a good gaming spec PC for £800 or under?

what i would be asking (which is i admit is lazy but essential for a noob) is a list if part and hopefully links to english website where i could buy all the parts needed to make my own gaming PC.

Im hopeing for 256mb card and 1024mb ram as well as a decent cpu, Im not scared by putting it together although i havent done this before, im more scared of buying incompatibale parts.

so for any help out there i would much appreciate your knowledge/help

im sure the figure i estimated can be easily beaten for a half decent gaming machine but like i said i dont have the confidence to understand what works with what and dont want to send parts back here and there for months.

yep im a noob, and yes i would appreicate some help.

please only post if your gonna give full details not just shit like, buy a AMD this and such and such type fans either ignore me or be helpful.

and thanks to anyone who has taken time out to supply help for my request, im at your merci (but i dont do sexual faivours sorry :()

thanks
Mike

Alright, here is the specs on the computer that i am building now: (i'll get you links when i get home)
Motherboard: DFI LANparty nforce 4
Processor: Amd Athlon 64 3700+
RAM:Ultra 512mb, pc3200 400mhz x3 (1.5 gigs)
Vid card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 mb
Hdd: any one will do, but with your prics range, i would go with a SATA.
Case: Ultra MS blue dragon
Misc.: 5 led fans
CD burner
DVD burner
And some of those coolio round, uv-reactive IDE cables
And an Ultra 500-watt x-connect power supply. I got this all from www.tigerdirect.com

EDIT: whoops i didn't see the euros sign

er.. its the pound sign ;)

anyway, i would go for a 6800GT instead of the 9800pro, because its a big deal faster. and instead of a 3700+ i would get a 3500+, that saves you the monney you spend extra on the grafics :) and the difference isnt that big between those cpu's
