Recommend a GPU upgrade?

Hi all. I am pretty sure that I am going to purchase Bioshock Infinite on the PC instead of a console and I was looking at the recommend specs and my video card is the recommend card (so I am guessing I would be able to run this game at high settings)... Is there a budget card (225-250 $ ) that would be a major upgrade or should I just try running it with my current rig and wait 6 months to update my whole entire machine. Thank you all in advance

hmmm ati? I used to love their cards but I stopped buying them because of driver problems.

Think I could get away running the game by overclocking the crap out of the card?
