Recommend a laptop

Looking to buy a new laptop. Willing to spend about $600. Will use it mostly for internet surfing, streaming movies on Netflix, saving and looking at photographs, and may put Microsoft Office on it. It would also be nice of it had an HDMI port that I could link to a TV. Screen size >15".

Would a notebook meet my needs?

With $600 budget, you will be aiming to get intel 4th gen i5.

Sorry for the delay on this, but my budget has dropped to about $400. What other recommendations? Which Intel vs AMD is recommended? Not sure of the correlation between these two.
