Hey,

I'm wondering if I should get this PC.
I'm wanting to just do editing and play various games on it such as
-Company of heroes
-Battlefield 3
-Left4dead 2

And some editing/recording software such as
-Cinema 4D
-Photoshop
-FRAPs

Please do not go on and say "BUILD YOUR OWN COMPUTER, IT'S CHEAPER AND YOU WILL GET A BETTER DEAL".
No, I do not have the time and simply want to spend my money on a full product well made.

If you think there is a better, cheaper PC, please link me to it.
Thanks in advance.

only one change id make other than what their speccing out, psu, change it to a corsair of some sort...not sure what their putting in it its sort of a mystery 600 watt thing...otherwise it looks ok.

6770 is as fast or faster than the 7770 which is faster than that thing. Also might want the gigabyte mobo.

Absolutely, that PSU is complete rubbish. Only has 31A on the 12V rail and for a 600W that is pretty bad.

Point is you don't need 600W for that machine, you need a quality 500W system such as this PC Power and Cooling one, which will be cheaper than the upagrade option.

In summary

Choose the 7770 graphics card (same price for easter sale and much better)
Keep your current build and PSU but replace it with the PC Power and Cooling PSU.
Spend the $29 bucks on the foam sound deadening
Spend the extra $9 and make that CPU cooler push/pull.

Hate to say it but build your own. It's like a lego set, and from there it's all software stuff. Pluss you will know the ins and outs of it, after working with it for a while you'll gain a feel of how the machine works and any quirks that might turn up.

+1

Since all the help you need with parts is here, "BUILD YOUR OWN COMPUTER, YOU WILL GET A BETTER COMPUTER".

"I do not have the time and simply want to spend my money on a full product well made."
The last part of this sentence is incorrect. Money doesnt equal a "full product well made". Choosing the right the components is what it takes, no matter how much $ you throw at it.
2-3 hrs tops, is all you need. And you get more than just a better machine for the $.
