Recommend me a fun FPS

Hi,

I have enough multiplayer FPS where there is no story to last me a year. :rolleyes: Could someone recommend me a game that has a good story and is fun to play? Just to let you know, I hate historical games. The only amount of Sci Fi I can allow is maybe +20 years, not so far that it's like space wars and no gravity stuff. Do NOT recommend me those scary games like F.E.A.R., I've been scared ****less by them.

Here is a list of games I already have (with a storyline, MP games not listed):

Far Cry
HL2
HL1
Swat 4
Serious Sam


Specs:

P4 3.0Ghz
2GB PC3200
Radeon 9550 128MB ( I can run BF2 on high with this card, no reason to upgrade)
10K Raptor 36GB
 
Counter Strike Source, Day Of Defeat Source , Red Orchestra, Battlefield 2, Halo and heres one that is not a FPS but still a very good game Need For Speed Most Wanted, Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 1 and 2, Doom 3.
 
Did I make my post hard to read? I asked for story line themed, PC first person shooters. I listed which games I already had. All I get is CS:S, DOD:S, Ostfront, BF2, Halo, etc etc and those are MP games with no story line.

I also got COD 1 and COD 2 which have a single player campaign but are WORLD WAR 2 THEMED, aka HISTORY.

Halo and Doom 3 have story lines. And you should have listed that you have Call of Duty 1 and 2 thats why you mentioned them. Next time make a complete list of games that you have so we can mention some of the ones you dont have.
 
I meant that I got Call of Duty 1 and 2 in the recommendations when I said I did not want historic games. I also said I did not want scary games (Doom 3). Halo is too sci fi, and if you read my post it said I didn't want games like that.

Well then i cant help you cause you are way to picky with what kind of games you want and i cant think of much more games that you would like. Maybe someone else can.

There aint much in the modern era for what you are looking for. Wait awhile and some will come out. Fear doom 3 you wont play cause you get to scared from them. Try Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Prey, Unreal tournament 2004. Crysis will be coming out sometime and so will unreal tournament 2007. Thats all i can think of right now that are in the Modern Era.
 
Full Spectrum Warrior, Black Hawk Down,.. as far as i know, those games have a storyline

a bit older,,. SoF 2,.. still very playable, and enjoying tough

I totally forgot about Prey, that is one sick game. I can't wait for Crysis and UT2007.
