Recommend me a good shooter, Bioshock maybe?

So im planning to get something like a 8800GT this month, so i also want a good shooter game to test my new toy! Its been a long time since i play a good game and finish it all the way. Im thinking Crysis is a must any comments? and for those who played it, was Bioshock a good game? What other good fps games are good to notice a change in graphics from my 7600GT???

thumbs up on bioshock! it is a great game even if i played it on low/med settings. it has a good story and great gameplay!
 
Crysis comes with some of EVGA's 8800's so you can get that free.

The Half Life 2 saga is great and you can get it all (so far) plus Portal and TF2 with the orange box.

The ratings for Bioshock are all 4 star or more I think.So that sounds good to.
 
Call of duty 4! (granted, it runs like butter on my 7600gt so its not really a 'stress tester' your looking for for a 8800). :P
 
These are the old games i enjoyed.

F.E.A.R.
Quake 4 (my recommendation!)
Far Cry
Half Life 2 series
Counter Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes (if you want a campaign mode version of counter strike)
 
I will tell you my opinion of a few games...keep in mind however that I absolutely HATE most games (Bioshock and Halo are 2 exampes of horrible games imo) so if I tell you that I like a game...then it its rare lol.

I haven't played very many shooters, up until recently, but here's my thoughts:

* Bioshock
* Halo (pick one)
*** Crysis
*** F.E.A.R.
*** Timeshift
***** COD4
***** Gears Of War

There you have it, Flame Away everybody.

P.S. How do you like my awesome star system on the reviews? Pretty Awesome, I know.

I havnt played some of those games, but I'm jsut wondering if you could explain your ratings. I mean, what did you like on the particular game and what not. everybody has a different taste, so things you might not have liked, someone else could find to be great. so, maybe instead of saying, this game is good, this game is rubbish, just say how the game is, and let someone make his/her own oppinion weither the game is good or not to him/her self :)
