I'm looking for an easy to use image editing program. I'm not planning to do anything too fancy, just image resizing and color/contrast correction mostly. And making of simple graphics.

I realize that almost all graphics program can do the job but I'm looking for one with a clean, simple interface and without a steep learning curve.

It'd be a plus if the program had a "save for web" feature like Photoshop's but it's not necessary.

Any ideas?;)

photoshop? Thats what i use. Lots of features, and i dont know how to use half of them. buf its easy to find out how to do things you want.

Photoshop elements 4 or 5 is eaiser than Photoshop. It has a lot of quick fix stuff, but you can still get detailed if you want. It is also cheaper that CS2.

Gimp is a free photoshop alternative. Not as extensive, but very capable for being free. This is what i use on my computer, as i am too poor to buy photoshop, as much as i would love it. Definately a good program though.

Picasa2by Google is a very good free photo editing program. It has limited capabilities, but for simple stuff like red eye, color/contrast, and resizing, it is very good. It also has a few filter like effects and an extremely easy to use interface. It also serves as an organizer for your photos so you can select or view or publish them to the web very easily. Exelent program for basics. I really like it.

Adobe Fireworks 8 Thats what I have, it's great!

Unlike Photoshop, Fireworks is more vector based drawing, this means that it is better for graphics, like you mentioned. :D

Gimp is what I use mentioned above, it's a wonderful program. Pretty simple to use also.
