Recommendations for external hard drive

I just want to archive some accumulated video files, photos, PDFs, etc. on to an external hard drive. I do not need any fancy software to keep track of data etc. I just want to dump the files on to it in an organized way. I would like about 1 TB or so at a reasonable price.

Any recommendations for a RELIABLE external hard drive are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have a western digital mybook 1TB USB 3.0. Got it for $90 USD. When I start my new build, I'll be able to use it. But I suggest WD MyBook over anything else, but that's not saying nothing else is as good.
