Recommendations on wireless adapters

Im doing a build, and the modem is not going to be in the same room as the new computer being built.

I'm gonna have to use a wireless adapter to get internet, which do you suggest? I have no experience in these devices.

I have a TP-Link TL-WN722N R. When I purchased this through newegg it also came with a free USB cradle. I have had no issues except with windows 8. All you have to do is download a driver for Win8 on there site and no more problems. Great connectivity though.
