Recommened A Game?

I cant find a great game to play, can anyone recommend a game they know id love... I like survival horror, games with a great storyline, Last three games I played that were good were Indigo propecy , dreamfall and Mass Effect... I love bioshock too

is there anything else thats good?! I think im just getting too old to enjoy anything anymore
 
I can never find any good games other than first person shooters. Have you ever played Counter-Strike: Source? It has pretty good graphics, can run on almost any computer, and is really fun.
 
What about 'Alan Wake', that's coming out soon, I think... That sounds as if it'd be a game you'd like!

Also, like Meanman said, Call of Dity 4 is a fantastic game! :D
 
deus ex was good, fear was overated... plotwise, CS source is awesome, although I throw things when I get my ass kicked, Cod 4 is allright, singleplayer was fun, multiplayer is okay too

whats this game coming out that u speak of thats coming out?
 
i got a suggestion

try assassins creed i dont have it yet for console but i want to get it but you might like it for pc when it come out and did you try guild wars or any of those you prolly wouldnt like guild wars tho im heavy into that i like it better then wow plus its free online which makes it better to me
 
Assasins Creed is a horrible game. Biggest disappointment. It was the same crap over and over again. Yea the graphics are awesome, the stuff was cool, the ability to walk through the environment was nice, but when it came to gameplay it was the SAME MISSION OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Shoot it was so dragged on I think I fell asleep one time when I was running on the roof.

2 out of 5 from me.

However COD4 very nice game, I LOVED the sniper parts.

OP theirs nothing wrong with picking up classic games like Metal Gear Solid. One of my most favorite all time games.
 
How about the orange box, comes with all the Half Life 2 saga (So far thats 3 games.) ,Portal (Awesome Single Player) and TF2 (Great Balanced Team Game). The best I would have to say would be portal. The concept of shooting portals is really fun! Imo of course. Thats a total of 5 games.:D
 
You keep recommending a game that hasn't even set a release date yet...

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of the Earth
was a wicked game. Try looking for patches though if you get it as some parts were a bit buggy. But creepy cool game. Made by Bethesda, creators of Oblivion. I think it was based on the same/similar engine as well so graphics are pretty good, but not quite as intensive as oblivion. Creepy when you don't have much at all for weapons.


Condemned: Criminal Origins was supposed to be a sick game as well. Creepy. I want to play this one.
 
Planescape Torment in case you enjoy a good, immensely deep storyline. The combat in the game isn't very good, but the game consists mostly of interacting with NPCs. You can truly make choices in that game, even more so than in Fallout or such.
 
Halo 3, COD 4, the next GTA game, Fallout 3 (A year away :(), many more but I don't have them on the tip of my brain.
