Recoomend a Good AGP Card.......

if you have $230 to spare for a grafics card. i seriously recommend the ASUS v9999.
(the fast version) its a 6800GT, but you can easely overclock it to ULTRA level with the stock cooler on it.
this gives you a real high end performance for a reasonable price.
( you cant upgrade later.. because its almost the fastest AGP card then :)
and everything faster.. well the difference is that small, its not worth it )

What a coinincidence (sp?)! I was just about to post about my new finds:

The Asus V9999GE GeForce 6800 256MB - £217
and
The PNY Verto GeForce 6800 GT 256MB - £174 (Limited time offer)
also (But a little expensive)
XFX Geforce 6800 GT 256MB £238

The asus sounds real good, and im a big fan of asus (Gettin an asus M/B of corse)

Ill have to get a Zalman VF700-CU

Also how would the PNY Compare with a ATI X800 XL Pci-e? My friend is getting one of them and i wana know if it would out perform it.

Ive decided on the PNY anyway, the Asus only has 12 pipelines, while the XFX is too expensive.

Ive decided to go Pci-e now, so i can be "future-proof" Still gona get a PNY 6800GT, or if a 7600 GT is cheap enough, one of them :D

dont bother with an agp card... if you do i suggest the 9800pro. and pci-e cards have gone down, theyre pushing people to upgrade. :)

And where can you buy this v9999 230$?

If your going to save up for a little after that "crap card" get the new and improved 6800's. Those thing are blazing fast but they will also burn a blazing hole in ur pocket :(

Why don't you just upgrade ur mobo to PCI-E? PCI-E is going to dominate the market, just watch

I can say the same things about both GPU companies. I've had an old Atlantis and a 9600 and I hated both of them (way back then) and now I really don't think I got my money's worth with my Verto 6600 GT...:(
