Record Xbox Game Play

What are some alternatives for recording game play on a console?

Is it only a Capture Card? Or can I hook something up to my TV, like a laptop, Apple TV or something.

Could you run it through a vcr then hook the vcr up to the computer via a video camera.

or u could pop a blank tape in the vcr and hit record i use a capture card with a cable i got off ebay that hooks into my 360 has my component out to my tv, and also a svideo cable that runs to my capture card so i can have them running at the same time.

Yeah, thats what i meant.
If you wanted to go directly into computer, you could probably:

360 --rca--> VCR --rca--> Camcorder --firewire/usb--> Computer

you can just take a dvd recorder. then you also should be able to rip it to your pc quite easely.
