Recording OTA HDTV

I want to setup my system to record OTA HDTV and be able to send recorded programs to my Plasma TV. I realize there are video cards to receive OTA signals, record via Media Center, and playback on my PC. But I need the ability to send the playback to my television via HDMI. How can this be accomplished? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Playing back over HDMI should be the easy part of this process ;) Either find a card with HDMI on it (most any new GPUs have them) or get yourself a DVI to HDMI cablel. Just reailze if you take the cable route, you'll need an additional cable for audio

For outputting HDMI? Not knowing a budget it's hard to suggest a specific one, but there are hundreds of them out there!

Lots and lots of cards!

Now, are you sure you're not asking about capturing/inputting HDMI? If that's the case, you're going to have a bit more of a problem. Only a select few cards actually capture HDMI, and even less have hardware compression. Attempting to capture say 1080p would require a fairly substantial RAID that could handle well over 100MB/s

Nope. All I want to do is receive the signal from our antenna through coax into the computer and then be able to playback any recordings thru HDMI to the TV.
