whats some good recording software for free for the PC i tryed fraps but its got the www.fraps.com on the top of the screen anything else that is worth a try? its for making montages
 
If you have the time you can try xfire. You may need to do a few test runs to tweek the settings. I tried it with Battlefield Heroes all though some of the videos got out of sync.
 
I used to record my games and my application for making presentations with various softwares. Freecorder is one of them, it is really very nice software for recording Sounds, it lets us to record any sound like CD we are playing , games music, or anything.
If you want to record whole screen like games then i prefer ZD Soft Screen Recorder.
It is very user friendly.
 
i use fraps but you have to buy it. love it works really go i make montages to. what games you makin for? maybe i could capture for you???
