Hey, new here. I dont know if this is the right place for this? Okay so I want to make a phone call to someone and I want to record the conversation. How can I do this? I have a samsung phone, so is there a way I can connect it to my computer, talk whilst on it, and a programme will record it? Or another way? Would be grateful if someone could help me out with this. Glad to be part of the community
 
During the call, check if there is any button that says something like "Record". Also, do you know the type of phone you have? Saying samsung doesn't really narrow it down.

Cell phones typically don't have this sort of functionality, although I believe there are apps for smartphones (such as the iPhone) that allow for this.

The very cheapest option would of course be to just use speakerphone and then just use any sort of recorder. The next cheapest option that will provide considerably better sound quality would be to get a microphone that attaches to the phone's speaker.

However, something you definitely need to know is that recording any phone call without the other person's consent it illegal against federal law. Also, any information you might be recording would be completely inadmissible in any legal sense.

Understandable. Not for anything illegal. Im on a website and we managed to get someone who would have an interview with us, so it will be a phone interview and I have to record it. The suction cup microphone, how does that work?

It's simply a microphone that can attach to a phone's speaker. Then you could plug it into a computer and use any program to record.
