red alert 2

hello you guys

ive just got hold of red alert 2 from local shop for £5, now i used to play the first one on my playstation for hours a day!!

but i didnt realise that you can play it over the net, soon as i found out i bought red alert2 and tiberian sun

problem is it looks like westwood studios has vanished so i cant register or play online...

does anyone know what the story is and how to play online?

Hmm I used to play online but I can't access internet because I'm on a router and it doesn't find the internet connection.

Love that game though

yeh its a good game!!

ive got a router too, thought the hard part would be to configure my router to allow for online gaming but i done that

just went onto router page and went to gaming settings and allowed all command and conquer and westwood games.

seems like westwood got snapped up by EA but the old games are still trying to connect to the old westwood website

but like i say westwood studios is no more, spent 2hrs lookin for a patch to correct it

We could set up a server using Hamachi though. Im sure someone knows how to correctly pull that off.

Nah its a program that lets you directly connect to other people over the internet to host LAN games. I dont know how to set it up but im sure someone here does lol
