Alright, I've read a bunch of the dual boot threads and can't find what i'm looking for. I've done this configuration before, about 2 years ago, I just forget how to do it.
What I'm going to do is install Red Hat on my Laptop which also has Windows XP. The drive already has 2 partitions, both NTFS. I'm going to convert the secondary partition over to FAT so Red Hat can see it, I just don't remember where in the order Red hat likes to be. I know Windows has to be the primary partition. Would putting the Red Hat partition between the other two work? Secondly, I seem to remember windows throwing a fit when I installed Red hat after windows was already installed. Am I going to have to repair or reinstall windows once Red Har is on or can I just change the boot.ini file and make everything happy?
