Red X

My computer are all starting to have an red X on the internet. 2 days ago my laptop had an red x on it, so I try different method on the internet but it still didn't work so I thought it was just my laptop problem but today my desktop also had an X on it. The ipads and another laptop is working. Is it the computer problem? or do I need to buy a new modem?
 
Is your laptop and desktop wireless or wired? If they are wireless, are they connected to the same WiFi network as your laptop and desktop?
 
My laptop is wireless and my desktop is wired. All my other devices that are wireless are connected to the same network but they are working
