Ya that downloaded when i reinstalled firefox I think.
But, I have another problem now = /
I just did a windows update and when it asked me to restart I chose to do it later, so later I turned it off or restarted it, and when it came back on, I keep getting the screen telling me I cant start windows normally.
I have tried running it normally, last know good config, safe mode, and safe mode with networking, but nothing.
When I do run it in safe mode or SM with networking though, it freezes up when running through things( freezes on AVGIDS or something like that if that matters).
Also, In the start up screens, either I havent noticed it before or its new but it says Checking NVRAM...
Maybe I just havent noticed that before.

Well your current problem is due to a windows update and you need to do a system restore if possible somehow but it deosn't seem like you can get into windows at the moment.

Checking nvram is your bios and has always been there. Do you have an actual XP install cd? If you do you can boot to it and go into the recovery console and actually do a system restore or you can do a repair install of the OS which will get rid of all updates past the SP service pack that is used on the install cd.

Does it have to be the same disc?
Also, how do I boot from the disc?

you need to change the boot order in the BIOS so that CD/DVD ROM is first.

You must use the same flavor of XP that was used to when you installed windows. So if you have home edition then professional edition won't work.
