A Allmine New Member Jan 19, 2010 #1 I have a Western Digital 500GB external drive. It is in FAT32 format, which sucks, because I can't transfer files over 4GBs. Can I reformat the HD to NTFS safely? If so, should I use Windows, or should I get a third party app?
