Reformat gone wrong

I have an ASUS G74SX. My son downloaded Dragonball Z videos, and the computer went haywire. I attempted to F8 reformat it. During the reformat an error popped up. It finished reformatting, and the computer boots up. Not all of my hardware is installed. My Graphics card, and networking adapter did not install for sure. I've tried reformating again, same thing. Soooo what now?

The reformat should have reinstalled all the drivers but apparently not. Go here to get the drivers.

Select windows 7 as your os and then download the vga and wireless drivers.

alright. I can't connect to the internet on that computer, and it won't recognize thumb drives. Will burning them to a disk work?

What happens when you try plugging in a usb flash drive? Sounds like you have an issue. It should work without issues after a reformat.

Try using a USB port on the back of the computer.
