Reformatting your operating system

Is this just a case of putting your XP CD into the drive and following the instructions. I want to pracetice this on an old computer I bought from a friend.

if youve got enough RAM, try it in vmware or virtual pc
 
^^ Agreed I use VMware Workstation and test out OS's and mess around with them. No worries about infections b/c you just delete the Folder and create a new one. LOL
