Reformatting

Hi, I want to reformat my hard drive so i can start from day one but i do not have an OS disc. Is there a way that you can format the drive without a cd?? I remember years ago that you used to be able to enter DOS and type format c etc... but things change!
 
Um...well there are ways to format without a Windows XP disk, but then you're kind of stuck... What do you plan to put back on there without an OS?
 
Like The Other One said theres all kinds of programs to format a drive, but with no OS cd your going to be looking at a Bios screen afterwards!
