Refurbished Laptops?

I'm currently between laptops and am trying to buy an interim computer; nothing permanent, just something that will work between now and when I finally save up enough to get a decent laptop. So I was considering buying a refurbished computer since they seem to be pretty cheap. Something like one of these:

Have you ever bought a refurbished computer/server/anything for that matter? Has it worked out for you, or does it tend to be a hassle?

I like business grade Dell Latitudes myself. Take a look at Dell Financial on eBay. You can find some good deals there. And since they're direct from Dell, they look really good cosmetically and work just as good. I've bought a ton of them to resell and they're awesome!

Floor models also in a store. End of year and new is coming in.
Want to move them for the room. A salesman can not make the
decision. Request a manager to talk. Like Office Depot, etc.
