Regarding the antec 900

can someone who owns the case tell me if i can simply swap in any old 120mm fans without blue leds?

I don't own the case but why wouldn't you be able to? Sometimes fans need to be replaced and most if not all cases should come with all fans easily replaceable.
 
the fan lights r the only things that make the case even the slightest bit appealing... without them it will just look like a cage
 
yeah dude i own the case, for the fan on top.. i havent tried to remove it and dont plan on it, but i already removed the back fan and the 2 front just to see if its possible, and yes you can and u can switch em out with any other 120 mm fan you want. psu on bottom is nice cuz that makes the side fan directly over your gpu and the temps stay cool cuz of all the ventilation and fans. no real draw backs and u can actually customize it easier then these others dude put on.
