Regional Settings? internet web pages

HI

Please help me.

I do a fair bit of online shopping and i would like to pay in American Dollars, but sometimes i get ready to order, the prices appear in POlish Currency! Why is that? some online dating advertisement even says find singles in Poznan (Poland)!

I tried to overcome this problem by changing my regional settings to the US and even the time zone to the US, but they didnt help.

Oh another example would be when i type www.google.com into the address bar and press enter, i am automatically lead to www.google.pl which is frustrating cos i dont understand polish!

btw i AM currently located in Poznan, poland, but i would jus like to hav all my internet related stuff to be in US standards-

PLEASE help.

Your settings are not computer related, they must be with your ISP and your domain name.

I have the same thing here in Australia when I attempt to connect to google.com, I get google.com.au.

I don't think you can get around this.
