Registered for program

Hi,

I borrowed a program from a friend and accidentally registered for it. does this mean that my friend will not be able to use the program himself?

Not sure on that software but technically you can only install software on one machine. If you want it on more than one machine, you have buy a more copies.

I know you are only supposed to, but I have personally installed MS Office on several computers, and it works everytime. So, it could possibly still work.

Forget activation and whatnot, you mean you REGISTERED it? So you could get like tech support or something?

I don't know if it'll really matter or not. I'd imagine not, as long as long as he doesn't need the support.
 
You can only register a copy of a program once. He should still be able to install it, but he wont be able to register it with his information.
