Registry pop ups!

Hi I just finished backing up all my files and I reformatted my computer today. I go on everything is fine I start to reinstall my programs and so forth and all of a sudden I start to recieve these pop ups telling me my registry is corrupt and I have to go to www.registrycleanerxp.com or www.registrycleanergold.com or www.msregistrycleaner.com
So I have sum kind of Virus or Malware or something and I dont know how to get rid of it??
Anyhelp me as Ive only JUST reformatted

I think you may be talking about the "messenger services" popups. You don't actually have a corrupt registry or malware on your system, people are just sending you messages telling you that you do. Either install a firewall, or update to SP2. You can disable the messenger service, which will also prevent these popups, but it still leaves your computer unprotected.
