Registry Problem

I downloaded a tool to fix the windows registry. Turns out that some websites won't load and on some websites none of the images load. I'm thinking it's the registry thats all messed up now. I did system restore but that didn't seem to work. Is there some way I can fix this?

Did the registry tool offer to make a restore point before you used it, or ran your first scan?? If so click "Restore" in the tool app.

No it didn't. I did do system restore but that didn't even change anything.

You can try to run something like WinASO... see if that helps at all. It probably won't if something is corrupt but it is worth a shot.

Ya. I got Advanced System Optimizer. Didn't seem to work either with the whole website loading thing.

What even makes you so certain it is a Registry issue? It is quite possible that your browser settings are screwed up, or the browser itself is corrupt. What "tool" did you download?
