Registry Recovery?

Ok so I had a solid state drive doing nothing but booting the operating system (windows 7), but out of no where the file system for my boot drive couldn't be recognized??? well anyway it wasn't bad because all I had to do was re install the os, and switch the registry values back over. Now none of my programs that I had before are being recognized as installed, which is expected, but what I was wondering is, is there any way to recover my registry, or repair it in such a way that i don't have to manually install everything I had before?

You will have to reinstall your programs.

You might want to learn how to do Disk Imaging. Makes restoring a bad install easy.

I know how to disk image lol. This install was only 3 days old I honestly didn't predict a crash in less than 72 hours, but Microsoft never ceases to amaze me.

After installing Windows, and getting Drivers working, I install a few of the Main Apps I like, and then do a Image.

Apps that go obsolete quickly I leave off the image. That way I always have a good Base Image to go back to quickly.

Then as the Computer grows I might make a updated Images, that include the rest. But I always keep the First Base Image just in case.
