I am aware that PC security programs modify the registry to remove or make restrictions on windows, i want to know what registry values if theres any i would change to remove the "RUN" command on the start menu.

i dont want to install any PC security software on my terminal PC's i have made some manual registry mofications like removing the drive and other desktop security, i also want to remove the "RUN" comand so that users on my workstation cant execute programs i dont want them.

You can just customize the start menu and uncheck the "RUN" command to show on the start up list.

RIGHT CLICK on taskbar>Properties>Start Menu>Customize>Advanced

Scroll down, near the end.. uncheck "Run Command"

hky_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\explorer\{nodrives dword set to 1}
this will remove the run command on the startmenu in Win98.
took me an hour searching for this answer

Well...good to know :P

I'll make you paranoid and guess that there are "backdoors" to the "Run" command. But don't quote me on that lol.
