Do you guys know anyway that i can reinstall my window with a CD-rom that isn't working?
I have an external CD-Rom via USB but i don't think it can work.

Any of you have any idea?
Thanks

Is the external one in a case? I mean if the case is removed is it an ide crdom? If so just remove the outer shell and plop it on the computer...

Its hard work but possible...

Get yourself a copy of NORTON GHOST... and this programme will make a bootable floppy with USB support.

Also Read this http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ghost.nsf/pfdocs/2000112112190325

Good luck and make sure you have plenty of Tylenol... :-)

For no pain easy fix buy a new Cd rom.... INTERNAL...
