Reinstalling MS OS

Heloo everyone. Recently I wanted to reinstall Micosoft's operating system onto one of my hard drives but I lost the disk. Is there any way I can obtain another disk without paying. I still have the registration number from the disk. Thanks

You can ask a friend for a CD. But other than that, you'll have to pay for it. I dont think there's a legal way to download it from somewhere.

which OS is it? if it is something like 98, you can download the boot disc online. if its xp, just install it with the cd.
