can someone please explain the realtionship between oem hardware and overclocking does it matter if i have an oem processor, i know i cant have an oem board but what kind of hardware would i need to overclock

oem or retail, doesnt matter. the only difference is that oem wont come with a heatsink and therefore you need to buy one seperately.
id suggest something zalman or aerocool.
if you get a retail processor, then the heatsink that comes with it wont help you overclock very much anyways. (too much heat!)
