Nah I hate any kind of USB stick flash storage devices.
I had many of them...some were Kingston, some were Cruzer and so on...
After approximately a year of using them, most of them got crazy and all the data I had on them turned into weird chinese symbols lol.And of course the files were completely useless.I was able to recover some, but not all.
And no it was NOT the virus issue or anything similar.Just the crapy FLASH memory.
So if you want something reliable, use a good hard drive with good cooling and it will work just fine for even up to 30 years IF you take a good care of it (which people usually don't lol).
I hate flash storage devices since they all have limited number of reads/writes and once that number is reached (sometimes even sooner which sucks by the way) then most IF not all of your data is HISTORY which I call CHINESE SYMBOLS (or whatever the hell that is lol). Here is a picture of what happened to me with ALL my flash storage devices after approximately a year of usage:
I like to think of memory sticks as the "new" floppy disks.A lot of people don't think about memory sticks failing or getting corrupted. They are not all that reliable like everyone says and can suffer from failure at the soldering joint from inserting/removing repeatedly.Never mind the concept that you may be inserting your stick into multiple computers which increases the posibility of getting a virus on it.Everybody should back them up periodically or they can go bye bye very quickly and with no warning. At least that happened to me lol.
