reloading program without the installation CD

I'm thinking of formatting my hard drive and reloading windows xp to cleanup and speed up my system. I've backed up my stuff but one program I'd like to reload after but don't have the install CD (it was preloaded on the PC) is Adobe photoshop album starter. If I make a copy of the Adobe folder created when this program was preloaded (it contains the .exe and all the .dll files etc) and recopy that folder under "program files" after windows is reloaded is that the same as reloading this program using the CD if I had it ?

Dave.

No, Most installs modify the registry.
What brand is the comp?
It may have a restore partition that brings it back to factory fresh.

It looks like with that model you need the restore discs.
A quick Google shows you can download Adobe photoshop album starter under a free use license.
