Remote Assistance Problems

everytime i send a remote assitance request to my friend it asks me for a password, how come i didnt need to give one when username: johnb35 connected to my machine to help me with something? Also when i try and do it afterwards its saying windows firewall isnt allowing it, i add it to the exceptions list and it still says its blocking it, finally when turning off the firewall, it asks me for a password i enter one my mate enters it and it says unable to connect when we have sufficient internet speed and good connection can someone help me??

Are you doing this through live messenger or through email? If its through email then that is why its asking for a password.

Try using team viewer, its free and WAY better than the messenger remote desktop because you can share files too.
