Hello cleaver people
I am looking for an easier, cleaner and faster way to access my work computer desktop. Currently I use a VPN to my employers server which is running server 2003, then I start Windows Remote Desktop and enter the IP address on my desktop computer in the office.
This allows me to connect to my desktop computer and effectively work from my laptop as if I was using the desktop in the office.
The problem that I have is that its a very slow method of doing anything, there is a definite lag of a few seconds between clicks and screen refreshes that made the whole experience very cumbersome.
Is there an easier and better way of doing this ?
My own laptop is running Windows 7 x64 and the desktop computer at my office is running XP.
Cheers
