Remote Desktop?

Hello, I have a friend who is trying to set up two XP Pro Machines with remote desktop. Useing the help with microsoft seems to to time consumering. I know this sounds semi picky but could anyone tell us where to find a simplistic guide to useing windows remote desktop?

Assuming that both are connected via the LAN and on the same subnet, all you need to do is enable remote desktop connections on both computers (right click on My Computer > Properties > Remote), and then type in the IP, user name and password on a different computer, and it should work.
