Is it possible to add a remote user to a LAN? I mean my LAN consists right now of a computer and a cable modem... I was thinking of letting a friend access my LAN with user privileges from his house via the internet, is this possible? If this was possible, could we share files and play LAN games online?

Hey thanks. Well, i got the vnc, but so far it only seems to work as a remote control and what I need is my friend´s computer to join my server as a user, not to control it, I dont seem to find a way to do this with VNC, even though its name indicates this should b possible. Is it? If it is please tell me how or tell me about any useful tutorials. If not is there any other software that can?
