Remote Screen help

Looks interesting, but I have no idea how it would work since laptops dont have a VGA input. Unless it just uses a USB connection.

They say it installs a virtual VGA driver in the primary PC, then in the target pc or laptop, it uses a small (900 KB) viewer program (that apparently you don't need to install - it just needs to be there?? and when you're done you can just erase it if you want, leaving no traces). The signal is sent from the virtual driver to the target computer via LAN (wireless or ethernet) and the viewer file displays the contents on the entire screen.

You can even use it with a Tablet PC and you can hook up to 4 "monitors / pcs"

It works fine with XP, but there are limitations with Vista because of Vista's increased security. You can read about those limitations in their "system requirements" link on their webpage. Interesting concept. I didn't know about it. Not a bad idea if you have a laptop laying around.

yeh its pretty good, didnt use it for long earlier but i tried it and its really easy to set up, seriously you just install it and it works. Havent tested anything remotely graphically intensive on it though. Will do later

I would be curious about movies (DVDs and good ol' divx, which will likely be fine) and then about some high graphics game played using both screens at the same time. I don't know what games you have (or if you are a gamer), but you can pick one you think would be good to test.

well its fairly impossible to drag a full screen game over to another screen so I gave up on that idea, I tried a video and it didn't seem to amazing, then again I am using my work network to do so and its a fairly busy network so I'll have to find time to do it at home
