"Remote Workstation" Question

I saw a display in a computer store a few years ago for a "device" that lets me use one computer in two locations. I believe it had a broad casting unit that plugs into the computer and a receiver unit that a monitor, keyboard and mouse plug into. Does anyone know what this "device" is called, or better yet have a link to a site with more information?

Sounds like a case of Thin Client Linking, where the end-user, or the client, has only just enough processing power to recieve and send data, and put an image on the screen, most of the processing power goes on at the server.

To be honest, it's useless, even with Gigabit LAN...

It looks like thin clinents are for large scale disribution downloads and executing small programs locally. What I saw "cloned" a computer, like using remote desktop, but with somewhat better performance, but from the looks of the thin client sites I found I believe that what I saw was phased out due to unworkable bandwidth demands.
