Remove duplicate OS

My friend got this computer from a company and it had WinXP Pro on it. I guess someone just installed Home along side the Pro. Now she has the Pro taking up lots of space on her already tiny HDD 14GB. is there a program I could use to uninstall the Pro without having to clear out the whole HDD?

you could try formatting the HDD... just delete the partition that contains Pro and Home, reformat, and install again...

they are both on the same partition and I was trying to avoid having to format because its hard for her to back up stuff with no type of burners, the computer is really old. Only 800MHz and no frills
