Remove entry from Add/Remove list

Is there a way to remove a program from the "add/remove programs" list, without uninstalling the program??? There is one entry that is screwed up and takes up more than half of the list.

In the Registry go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and delete the unwanted entries.

Sometimes i think Lorand lives in Regedit.
